In the most simple case, we come across two lienar equations and will want to where, if they do in fact, intersect. 

In the video to the left, we explore the following systems of simultaneous equations:

• y=2x+1 and y=x-1

• y=2x+1 and y=2x+2

• y=2x+1 and 2y=4x+2

When we come up against a system of 3x3 equations, we need a more robust method. The most robust method is Elimination, whereby the eliminate variables one by one.
